This product made me break out in many red spots, my skin was fine before. Its meant to be breakout free. I am disappointed.

Caused me to break out in a rash

I applied this as directed, and it remained in a white-ish streaky layer over my skin, that looked like a coating of fine white powder. When I applied this on my face today, it burned like acid. My entire face flushed red, and it appeared as if there were red rings around my eyes from how irritating the product was. I texted my mom a pic to ask for advice on what product to use to calm my skin down, and her first thought was that i had two black eyes, because the skin area around my eyes was so red and irritated. I'm currently sitting at home with cortisone cream slathered on my entire face, and even though I've washed off the sunscreen, my face still burns. It was a total waste of money imo, and now I'm left to ponder how long I'll be rocking the complexion of Mr. Krabs. Not great.

Not for sensitive skin

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
3 stars because it does not break me out like other sunscreens do, however my face is raw and red whenever I use it. I do have sensitive skin but no other sunscreen has ever given me such a reaction before. I initially thought I must just have forgotten to reapply and ended up with a sun burn but after avoiding for a week and resuming use it's clear it's the sunscreen that is irritating. I will not be repurchasing.

I will never get this sunscreen again. It made my face burn so bad I had to wash it off. Just thinking it was my skin being sensitive I told my friend she put some on her face and it did the same to her. Taking it back!!!

This stuff is absolutely horrible. Bought it for a week at the lake, came home with sun poisoning. I reapplied at least every 2 hours if not sooner and I STILL burnt! Do not waste your time.

So it is not true that your face won't break out. My face broke out bad and my face got bright red and it burns so bad. As soon as I realized it was the lotion I stopped using it. They should really test this product more!

After breaking out horribly using an SPF 75 lotion on my face, I asked a consultant dermatologist which sunscreen she would recommend and she pointed me to this. I have not burned or had a breakout since using it. The most important thing in selecting a sunscreen is choosing the right one for your skin type. SPF 30 is just right for persons of African extraction, anything higher just clogs your pores without providing any additional protection. The clear face line is great and the SPF 30 is the one to go with for Black skin.
