White residue and loss of taste

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
I've used Listerine for years and tried this new type. After a few uses only I wake up with white slimy residue in my mouth. Also the taste of food and drinks is effected hours later. For example my coffee tastes terrible 10+ hours after use. I stopped using right away and everything went back to normal.

"Sloughing" and bad taste

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
I am not happy with this product. Immediately after using it, my mouth feels oddly dry, even more so than if I had used a mouthwash with alcohol. Within about two hours (or overnight) the skin on the inside of my cheeks and gums peels off, which is alarming. The flavor is also very unpleasant. It tastes like mothballs. I would like to pour it down the drain, but I am worried about the effects it might have on the water supply.

Inner mouth skin peeling

Review Questions:
Age: 45 to 54 years old
Review Text:
I accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle at the store, I usually use the regular Listerine Zero; this tasted weird so I checked the label. Only difference was that it is "Less Intense, so the whole family can use it"? It is less intense for me but my mouth doesn't feel clean after using it, it feels dry and coated. Within two days of using it two times a day I was waking up in the morning with globs of skin in the crevices of my mouth and strings of cheek skin hanging in my mouth. It reminded me of when I'd eat super sour candy and the inside of my mouth would peel the next day. It can't possibly be good to do that to the inside of your mouth over and over, and I am horrified that parents may be giving this to their children and not know what could be happening. Listerine should be ashamed of themselves, we aren't guinea pigs.

Causing mouth sloughing

Review Questions:
Age: 18 to 24 years old
Review Text:
I always use listerine but this version has been causing significant sloughing inside my mouth. I’m not sure if it is a reformulation issue? But I will discontinue using this version of listerine.

White, gel-like film in mouth

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
My dentist recommended I use this to prevent gum disease. However, after using this, my mouth is covered in a thin film of clear-white gel that I have to take out with my finger. What is this? I don’t recommend this product.

I've ben fishing white film out of my mouth since using this product

Review Questions:
Age: 45 to 54 years old
Review Text:
I opened a new bottle of this product two days ago. What is this white film that I have been fishing from between my cheek and gums? I did a google search on this and the masses are saying that it is coagulated saliva. Others say it is dead skin cells from the inside of the cheek. Both are due to an active ingredient that has been added to the formula in place of the alcohol. What ever it is, it is gross and I refuse to use it again. I have always used the cool mint, or the green variety without any issues. I suppose I will go back to my original choices. I was very disappointed with this mouthwash.

Leaves slimy film in mouth, Reduced taste even many hours after use, Burns just as bad as their normal alcohol mouthwashes.

Review Questions:
Age: 18 to 24 years old
Review Text:
I wanted to start using an anticavity rinse so I tried this. I woke up the next day with an uncomfortable slime/film in my mouth. My sense of taste the whole next day was reduced, like when you burn your tongue or it is numbed. While using the mouthwash, it's quite foamy, and it's just as uncomfortable as normal alcohol mouthwashes.
