TERRIBLE NEW BOTTLE. Why fix if not broken?

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
The pumps are absolutely TERRIBLE! They come off, or just don't work completely. Why on earth would you fix something if it is not broken? You have certainly lost my custom, and probably many others until you bring back the old squeezable bottles.

Love the Product; Hate the Pump

Review Questions:
Age: 35 to 44 years old
Review Text:
This review is in reference to the design of the pump, not the product itself. With this being our first child, we trust the brand of Johnson and Johnson. We turned here first, but came away disappointed in the packaging. The pump is nearly impossible to operate one handed, which defeats the purpose of having a pump in the first place. The poor design has resulted in us looking strongly at your competitors. I cannot overstate the importance of ease of use while bathing an infant. The pump is a safety concern when trying to get the product out of the bottle on a wet counter with a slippery baby. What market study was done? In a controlled environment, it might be fantastic. In real life use, it’s a failure.

Absolutely love this product.

Review Text:
I bought this for my 2 yr old and 3 yr old grandchildren to use at my home. Loved the product but was so disappointed in the pump as it never worked and had to finally take the top off to use it.

Poor packaging

Review Text:
I’ve been using this for many many years, probably all my life to be honest. My mother used this on me and I’ve been using it on my kids, especially since my daughter is highly allergic to many things and this was the one soap I knew would be gentle on her. Well recently I found out that the packaging was changed. Suppose to be new and improved ??? Yeah not a chance. It’s so complicated to use and I also think the formula changed because it doesn’t lather like it used to and it “tingles” now as my daughter would say, when she uses it on her face. If a product isn’t broke, why change it??? I don’t understand why you would mess with something that has done well for many years. Yes there are people who want organic or vegan and cruelty free, well guess what, not everyone is on that bandwagon and would love to have the old Johnson’s soap back. You wanna add items to a line, great!! But don’t go changing things and taking things away, especially when they sell like crazy. We have a newborn now I’m my family and I’m not sure I would even recommend this anymore for all reasons listed above, and Incase you missed it, I’ll state again: 1. Packaging is aweful and complicated to use especially while bathing an infant 2. The formula is different from what it used to be.

The new pump ruins it.

Review Questions:
Age: 35 to 44 years old
Review Text:
I’ve been a dedicated user for years and I’m now changing brands because of the pump. It’s the worst pump on earth. It takes 4 seconds for the pump to come back up which results in a long time to get enough soap out. It’s really bad. Time to move on.

Works great for rsv

My little one (8 weeks old) was diagnosed with RSV three days ago the night she was diagnosed I went out and bought Johnson & Johnson's Vapor wash I was very impressed with a gentle scent not overwhelming or harsh like vicks vapor . Vicks is also not good to use on small babies so I love that Johnson & Johnson's Vapor is here and made out of natural ingredients. Its day 4 I've bathed her in it every day , took her to the peds yesterday for a check up on it and she is doing great he said her lungs sound amazing and I'm truly thankful for Johnson & Johnson's Vapor it's a great product and I personally love it . Don't knock it till you try it . Also my little one has hypersensitive skin and had no reaction not even a red spot . Amazing work thank you so much Johnson & Johnson's !!

Not a good formula

I brought this product 3 months ago and I have tried it on my now 18 month old a few times. After every use I noticed that my son had rash on his arms and chest. The rash even appeared on his face, although the wash was not applied directly to his face just from him splashing in the tub. I do not recommend this product. The old formula worked great (no break outs or rashes).

It wasn't broken, why did you "fix" it?!

Review Questions:
Age: 25 to 34 years old
Review Text:
I have used Johnson's baby shampoo daily for YEARS for make up removal. Read that as: I used to lather it and apply it directly to my eyes. It was wonderful. Now that it has been "improved" I will no longer be buying it. a) It runs through my fingers and barely lathers, requiring that I use much more. b) The new bottle and pump are practically unusable. The bottle is unstable and each pump produces a tiny amount of shampoo. I have to use one hand to stabilize the bottle and the other to pump it repeatedly. I generally like pump bottles, though. This just isn't the right kind of plastic for it. c) It stings like insect bites. My eyes were dry, red, and itchy to the point that I needed eye drops. My friend stopped using it because her baby started crying when she used this new shampoo. She's the one that introduced me to Aveeno baby wash. It's not as good as the old Johnson's baby shampoo, but it is far and away better than this new hornet water Johnson's is selling. I chucked the whole thing in the garbage. Fail, Johnson's. Huge fail. I understand that crunchy organic people want things that are natural, organic, gluten free, chemical free, etc. ect. ect. Poison ivy is natural, but I bet you'd get blow back if you added it to your products. I don't blame you for trying to snag that market, but I think you'll ultimately lose more than you gained.
