IMODIUM® A-D is a very good product and produces the desired results. However the blister packs are absolutely miserable to open. I would suggest that during your next regular meeting to pass out samples and have a grandmother or grandfather figure attempt to open these packages without tools in front of everyone to observe. You will find this demonstration very embarrassing indeed. The consumers that use this product are usually in a hurry or feel a sense of urgency. I personally find this very frustrating and unnecessary.

    Ridiculous blister pack

    Pros:
    Pepto-Bismol®

Please just put a picture of the packaging on the outside warning people that unless they tear phone books in half with only their thumb and index fingers, they should just get the bottle.

I have used your product for decades with never any issues. As I have aged, there are now serious issues with the packaging. I understand the FDA has imposed this packaging on you so you really don't have a choice, except, perhaps in HOW you carry out their edict. As it is now I am forced to open the packs with scissors as it is impossible to do so with just my bare hands. The cruelty lies in the times when you urgently need a dose of the medication and have to frantically search for the scissors, cut the pills open, and then take them. I've had to learn to be creative and prepare ahead of time. Is there a way to make this task a little easier while still complying with the new regulations? Or are you satisfied with how you are doing it now?

Whilst the product is wonderful. It just needs to be added to packaging how many hours in between doses.

This may be the worst packaging I have ever encountered. I have moderate IBS usually stress or travel related, I physically can NOT open your new packaging. It used to have a pull tab on one corner then the pill would pop out. Now you need a full pair of scissors and a flat surface...not always realistic in an immediate place of need, such as in an airport or restaurant. Essentially, you have said that you do not want me as a customer...or any of my friends who say they have the same problem. Do you LIKE discriminating against older women with arthritis?

How in the heck do you expect the consumer to open the Imodium Caplet blister pack packages. There is no way to break through the alumunium/cardboard packaging where it says to "tear at notch" Perhaps if the notch was at the edge of the blister pack it would be easier to tear. Please reconsider your packaging!!!!! Make it easier to open, please!!!!! I was surprised to find all the reviews about this issue and that nothing had been done about it. I am seaching for another product that is effective and easier to open.

The packaging in the blister wrap is horrible. It is next to impossible to open without scissors. Beware senior citizens.
