    Applicator Needs a Redesign

I get bites that welt up from Aedes Mosquitoes and nothing works better than Benedryl that works to counteract the bites. However, in order for me to get the product to be dispensed, I’d have to use my nails and push on the sponge tip quickly which causes more product than I need to flow out. So, I would go through a stick in a week. Pressing firmly against the skin or affected area doesn’t work. Especially , where the skin is fleshy. The ingredients work, but just need a new way to deliver them.

I really want to love this product but can't because it fails at it's intended purpose which is to easily disperse medicine through a sponge tip. In order to get any medicine to flow one must press firmly ( I use my finger nail) while holding the pen sponge side down. It isn't that bad but it definitely not the process that that it appears to be. Just a suggestion - maybe a roller ball would be more user friendly.

    Effective medicine, ineffective applicator

The medicine work well enough, but the applicator has been lousy for me. There has to be enough pressure applied to compress the sponge tip to load it with liquid. This works fine on firm areas over bone, but it's practically useless on soft, fleshy areas like thighs. It also doesn't apply much with each compression. We'll stick with AfterBite.

I tried and tried to get this stick to work and nothing comes out. All it does is make your leg sore from pushing th stick onto your leg. Will go back to cream no more stick.

After coming to terms that my fav J&J clear gel poison ivy product was long discontinued and the last bit of gel was squeezed, I was so excited to research that people were saying this Benadryl gel was the same thing. I was hesitant but purchased and they were right. Exactly the same. I am so thankful..its the best thing that's ever worked for bug bites & poison ivy.
